Terms – All terms are for all holidays and short breaks and are for the cabin as equipped and described. The usual time of take-over is from 4pm (subject to unavoidable delays). Arrangements for arrivals after 11pm must be made in advance. You must leave the cabin on the date and time stated usually 10am.
Booking confirmation- The submission of our completed booking form will constitute an offer by you and a Contract shall come into existence when I, Mrs J Denning accept the initial payment. It is then not transferable. No details of the booking may be altered without my consent.
Number in the party- The contract will be entered into on the understanding that the total number in the party shall not exceed the advertised capacity of the cabin without my express permission. Babies and children must be included in this figure.
Deposit-The usual deposit is £100 which must accompany the booking form.
The balance of the hire money is due 6 weeks prior to your arrival. For bookings made within 6 weeks of your holiday start date you will be required to pay the full hire charge when you make your booking.
Booking cancellation-If you are compelled to cancel your holiday you must confirm in writing to Mrs J Denning, Temple Farm, Chedzoy, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA7 8QR by first class mail and enclose your hire invoice and Booking Confirmation. The date of the postmark is the date upon which the cancellation becomes effective. My acknowledgement in writing will be your confirmation that your booking has been cancelled. If you have to cancel within 42 days of your holiday, you must telephone us first and follow this with a written letter by First Class Mail. You will be held responsible for the full balance of your holiday Cost.
Children-All children must be supervised at all times. You must bear in mind that the area outside the designated holiday area is a working environment and therefore is not a suitable play area.
We provide linen, sheets, pillowcases, pillows, duvets, blankets, towels, electricity and gas inclusive in the hire of the cabin.
Availability The contract is made on the understanding that the cabin will be placed at your disposal on the dates stated. Should this not be possible through circumstances not under our control (e.g.. fire, flood or damage), we cannot provide an alternative cabin. In this case any monies paid to us will be refunded to you in full but you will have no further claim against us.
Wheelchair/disabled persons-The cabin is suitable for holidaymakers with mobility difficulties. All booking applications from parties including people with special needs should include written details of those needs.
Allergies If any members of your party suffers from an allergy please inform us at the time of booking.
Pets & smokers We do not accept pets and smoking is absolutely prohibited inside the cabin. We reserve the right to charge a £50 fine if cigarette smoke is detected within the cabin as the cabin is promoted as non-smoking and this can subsequently cause inconvenience to both ourselves and the next occupants and is very difficult to irradicate.
Spa bath/hot tub-children under 5 are not allowed in the spa bath/hot tub. Children between the ages of 5 and 16 to be supervised when using this equipment. Please do not add any substances to the water as this can cause damage to the pump. Any such damage shall be charged to the hirer of the cabin.
Your vehicles-Your vehicles, accessories and contents are brought to Bramley Lodge at your own risk. We will not be responsible for loss or damage thereto, from any causes whatsoever except through negligence. You must park in the designated parking areas and not in the main drive. We do not permit the Charging of EV Vehicles. The nearest charging point is Dunball roundabout 3.5 miles away.
Personal possessions-We will not be responsible for loss or damage of any personal possessions brought to the property or left in Bramley Lodge.
Accommodation-At the end of your holiday you must leave everything in a clean and tidy condition. Please leave sink area clean and put away crockery. Please do not leave dirty crockery in either the sink or dishwasher. If BBQ has been used please clean it and put away tidily. You are responsible for any damage done or loss sustained during your holiday. We reserve the right to enter your accommodation under special circumstances or emergencies.
Service-We want you to enjoy your holiday. If you have any problems or concerns about your holiday you should notify us immediately and we will respond to you as soon as possible. We are not liable for any matter which you knew about during your stay but did not bring to our attention during your stay.
Our liability to you-Our liability to you is limited to the cost of your holiday except in the case of death or personal injury. Our right of refusal We reserve the right to ask you to leave if we feel your behaviour is offensive, inappropriate, disruptive or illegal.. In these circumstances you will not be entitled to a refund.
Accuracy of information-Whilst every care is taken to ensure that information is correct at the time of print we are not responsible to you for unforeseen events or matters over which we have no control.
